Chapter 18 · Prostration During Recital of Qur'anمَنْ قَرَأَ السَّجْدَةَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَسَجَدَ بِهَا
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي قَالَ، حَدَّثَنِي بَكْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ الْعَتَمَةَ فَقَرَأَ {إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ} فَسَجَدَ فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذِهِ قَالَ سَجَدْتُ بِهَا خَلْفَ أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَلاَ أَزَالُ أَسْجُدُ فِيهَا حَتَّى أَلْقَاهُ.

Whoever recited the Verse of Sajda during the Salat (prayer) and prostrated
I offered the `Isha' prayer behind Abu Huraira رضی اللہ عنہ and he recited Idhas-Sama' Un-Shaqqat, and prostrated. I said, "What is this?" Abu Huraira said, "I prostrated behind Abul-Qasim صلى الله عليه وسلم and I will do the same till I meet him."

Abū Rāfi' berichtete: Ich betete das ‘Atamah-Gebet [das Ischa-Gebet] gemeinsam mit Abū Huraira. Er rezitierte (die Sure) „Idhā s-Samā’u nšaqqat“ (Wenn sich der Himmel spaltet) und warf sich nieder (machte Sudschūd). Ich fragte: „Was ist diese [Niederwerfung]?“ Er antwortete: „Ich habe diese Niederwerfung hinter Abul-Qasim (dem Propheten) (صلى الله عليه وسلم) vollzogen, und ich werde mich weiterhin darin niederwerfen, bis ich ihn treffe [d.h. bis ich sterbe].“

Ebū Râfi' şöyle anlattı: Ebū Hureyre ile birlikte yatsı (Atama) namazını kıldım. O, “İzâ's-Semâu'n-şakkat” (Gök yarıldığı zaman) (sûresini) okudu ve secde etti. Ben, “Bu nedir?” diye sordum. O da şöyle cevap verdi: “Ben, bu secdede Ebü'l-Kâsım'ın (Peygamberin) (صلى الله عليه وسلم) arkasında secde ettim ve ona kavuşuncaya kadar (yani ölene kadar) bu secdede secde etmeye devam edeceğim.”
