Chapter 19 · Shortening the Prayers (At-Taqseer)حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا، يَقُولُ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ إِلَى مَكَّةَ، فَكَانَ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ حَتَّى رَجَعْنَا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ. قُلْتُ أَقَمْتُمْ بِمَكَّةَ شَيْئًا قَالَ أَقَمْنَا بِهَا عَشْرًا.

"We traveled with the Prophet (ﷺ) from Medina to Mecca and offered two rak`at (for every prayer) till we returned to Medina." I said, "Did you stay for a while in Mecca?" He replied, "We stayed in Mecca for ten days."

Anas [ibn Malik] berichtete: Wir reisten mit dem Propheten (ﷺ) von Medina nach Mekka. Er pflegte [die Pflichtgebete] stets in je zwei Rak'a zu beten, bis wir nach Medina zurückkehrten. Ich fragte [Anas]: „Habt ihr euch für irgendeine Zeit in Mekka aufgehalten?“ Er antwortete: „Wir verbrachten dort zehn Tage."

Enes (r.a.) şöyle dedi: Biz Nebi (ﷺ) ile birlikte Medine’den Mekke’ye yolculuk yaptık. Medine’ye geri dönünceye kadar o, [namazları] ikişer ikişer rekât olarak kılıyordu. Ben [Enes’e] sordum: "Mekke'de bir müddet ikamet ettiniz mi?" O şöyle cevapladı: "Biz orada on gün kaldık."
