Chapter 20 · Prayer at Night (Tahajjud)حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ الأَنْصَارِيَّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ ـ وَكَانَ ضَخْمًا ـ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِنِّي لاَ أَسْتَطِيعُ الصَّلاَةَ مَعَكَ. فَصَنَعَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم طَعَامًا، فَدَعَاهُ إِلَى بَيْتِهِ، وَنَضَحَ لَهُ طَرَفَ حَصِيرٍ بِمَاءٍ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ. وَقَالَ فُلاَنُ بْنُ فُلاَنِ بْنِ جَارُودٍ لأَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى فَقَالَ مَا رَأَيْتُهُ صَلَّى غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ.

"An Ansari man, who was very fat, said to the Prophet, 'I am unable to present myself for the prayer with you.' He prepared a meal for the Prophet (ﷺ) and invited him to his house. He washed one side of a mat with water and the Prophet (ﷺ) offered two Rakat on it." So and so, the son of so and so, the son of Al-Jarud asked Anas, "Did the Prophet (ﷺ) use to offer the Duha prayer?" Anas replied, "I never saw him praying (the Duha prayer) except on that day."

Anas ibn Malik al-Ansari (radiyallahu anhu) berichtete: Ein Mann von den Ansar – der korpulent war – sagte zum Propheten (ﷺ): „Ich bin nicht in der Lage, das Gebet mit dir zu verrichten.“ Daraufhin bereitete er dem Propheten (ﷺ) eine Mahlzeit zu und lud ihn zu sich nach Hause ein. Er besprengte einen Teil einer Matte mit Wasser, und der Prophet (ﷺ) betete darauf zwei Rak'at. [Später] fragte der Sohn von Soundso, der Sohn des Jarud, den Anas: „Pflegte der Prophet (ﷺ) das Duha-Gebet zu verrichten?“ Anas antwortete: „Ich sah ihn an keinem anderen Tag beten außer an diesem Tag.“

Enes ibn Malik el-Ensari (r.a.) şöyle dedi: Ensar’dan iri yapılı bir adam, Nebi'ye (ﷺ) şöyle dedi: "Seninle birlikte namaz kılmaya gücüm yetmiyor." Bunun üzerine o kişi, Nebi (ﷺ) için bir yemek hazırladı ve onu evine davet etti. Bir hasırın bir kenarını su ile ıslattı ve Nebi (ﷺ) o hasırın üzerinde iki rekât namaz kıldı. Fulan ibn Fulan ibn Carud, Enes’e (r.a.): “Nebi (ﷺ) Duha namazı kılar mıydı?” diye sordu. Enes: “Onu sadece o gün namaz kılarken gördüm, başka gün görmedim,” diye cevap verdi.
