Chapter 20 · Prayer at Night (Tahajjud)صَلاَةِ الضُّحَى فِي الْحَضَرِ
حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّاسٌ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ ـ هُوَ ابْنُ فَرُّوخَ ـ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، رضى الله عنه قَالَ أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي بِثَلاَثٍ لاَ أَدَعُهُنَّ حَتَّى أَمُوتَ صَوْمِ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ، وَصَلاَةِ الضُّحَى، وَنَوْمٍ عَلَى وِتْرٍ.

To offer Salat-ud-Duha when not traveling
My friend (the Prophet) advised me to do three things and I shall not leave them till I die, these are: To fast three days every month, to offer the Duha prayer, and to offer witr before sleeping.

Abu Hurayrah (Allahs Wohlgefallen auf ihm) berichtete: Mein innigster Freund [der Prophet (ﷺ)] legte mir drei Dinge ans Herz, die ich bis zu meinem Tod nicht aufgeben werde: Das Fasten von drei Tagen in jedem Monat, die Verrichtung des Duha-Gebets sowie das Schlafengehen nach dem Witr-Gebet.

Ebu Hureyre (Allah ondan razı olsun) şöyle buyurdu: İnnî dostum [olan Peygamber (ﷺ)] bana üç şeyi tavsiye etti ki, ölene dek onları terk etmeyeceğim: Her aydan üç gün oruç tutmak, kuşluk (Duha) namazını kılmak ve Vitir namazını kıldıktan sonra uyumak.
