Chapter 24 · Funerals (Al-Janaa'iz)السُّرْعَةِ بِالْجِنَازَةِ
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ حَفِظْنَاهُ مِنَ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أَسْرِعُوا بِالْجِنَازَةِ، فَإِنْ تَكُ صَالِحَةً فَخَيْرٌ تُقَدِّمُونَهَا {إِلَيْهِ}، وَإِنْ يَكُ سِوَى ذَلِكَ فَشَرٌّ تَضَعُونَهُ عَنْ رِقَابِكُمْ ".

Hurrying up with the coffin
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Hurry up with the dead body for if it was righteous, you are forwarding it to welfare; and if it was otherwise, then you are putting off an evil thing down your necks."
Deutsch
Abu Huraira (radiya Allahu anhu) berichtete, dass der Prophet (ﷺ) sprach: "Beeilt euch mit der Bestattung. Ist der [Verstorbene] rechtschaffen, so ist es ein Gut, dem ihr ihn zuführt. Und ist es etwas anderes, so ist es ein Übel, das ihr von euren Nacken ablegt."

Ebû Hureyre (radıyallâhu anh) naklettiğine göre, Peygamber (ﷺ) şöyle buyurdu: "Cenazeyi hızlandırın. Şayet salih biri ise, onu (varacağı) hayra ulaştırmış olursunuz. Eğer bundan başkası ise, boyunlarınızdan indirdiğiniz bir kötülüktür."
