Chapter 4 · Ablutions (Wudu')
Cleaning oneself with stones an odd number of times

Translation
Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “When one of you performs ablution (wudu), let him put (water) into his nose and then blow it out. And whoever cleans himself with stones, let him use an odd number. And when one of you wakes up from his sleep, let him wash his hand before putting it into his water for ablution, for none of you knows where his hand spent the night.”

Ebû Hüreyre (r.a.), Resûlullah'ın ﷺ şöyle buyurduğunu rivayet etti: “Biriniz abdest aldığında burnuna su versin, sonra sümkürsün. Taşla istincâ eden tek sayıda yapsın. Biriniz uykusundan uyandığında, elini abdest suyuna sokmadan önce yıkasın; çünkü sizden biri elinin geceyi nerede geçirdiğini bilmez.”
