Chapter 4 · Ablutions (Wudu')
Sahih

If a dog drinks from the vessel of one of you, let him wash it seven times

Translation

Abu Hurairah reported from the Prophet ﷺ: “A man saw a dog eating moist earth out of thirst. So the man took his leather sock and began scooping (water) for it with it until he had quenched its thirst. So Allah thanked him for it and admitted him into Paradise.”

Translator’s note: “Allah thanked him” means: He accepted his deed and rewarded him for it.

Deutsch

Ebû Hüreyre (r.a.), Nebî'den ﷺ şöyle rivayet etti: “Bir adam susuzluktan nemli toprağı yiyen bir köpek gördü.
