Sahih

A man pouring water for his companion's ablution

Translation

Usamah ibn Zayd reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he set off from Arafah, turned aside to the mountain pass and relieved himself. Usamah ibn Zayd said: Then I began pouring (water) over him while he performed ablution (wudu), and I said, “O Messenger of Allah, will you pray?” He said, “The place of prayer is ahead of you.”

Translator’s note: That is: the prayer is to be performed further on, at Muzdalifah.

Deutsch
