Sahih

A tent in the mosque for the sick and others

Translation

Aishah reported: Sa'd was wounded on the Day of the Trench in the vein of the forearm, and the Prophet ﷺ pitched a tent in the mosque in order to visit him from close by. Nothing alarmed them – there was (also) a tent of the Banu Ghifar in the mosque – except the blood flowing towards them. They said, “O people of the tent, what is this that is coming to us from your side?” And behold, Sa'd's wound was flowing with blood, and he died from it.

Translator’s note: This is Sa'd ibn Mu'adh. The Day of the Trench is the Battle of the Trench (5 AH). The injured vein (al-akhal) lies in the middle of the forearm.

Deutsch

Âişe (r.a.) şöyle rivayet etti: Sa'd (r.a.)

Translator’s note: Kastedilen Sa'd b. Muâz'dır. Hendek günü, Hendek Savaşı'dır (h. 5). Ekhal, ön kolun ortasındaki damardır.
