Translation
Abu Hurairah reported: The Prophet ﷺ sent horsemen towards Najd, and they brought a man of the Banu Hanifah called Thumamah ibn Uthal and tied him to one of the pillars of the mosque. The Prophet ﷺ came out to him and said, “Release Thumamah!” He went to some palm trees near the mosque, took the ritual bath (ghusl), then entered the mosque and said, “I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.”

Abu Huraira berichtete: Der Prophet ﷺ schickte Reiter in Richtung Nadschd.
