Chapter 9 · Times of the Prayers
Sahih

The five prayers are an expiation

Translation

Abu Hurairah reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, “Tell me: if there were a river at the door of one of you in which he bathed five times every day, what do you say, would that leave any of his dirt?” They said, “It would not leave any of his dirt.” He said, “That is the likeness of the five prayers: through them Allah wipes out the sins.”

Deutsch
