Delaying the Zuhr prayer until it is cooler in intense heat
أَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنُ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم الظُّهْرَ فَقَالَ " أَبْرِدْ أَبْرِدْ ـ أَوْ قَالَ ـ انْتَظِرِ انْتَظِرْ ". وَقَالَ " شِدَّةُ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ، فَإِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْحَرُّ فَأَبْرِدُوا عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ ". حَتَّى رَأَيْنَا فَىْءَ التُّلُولِ.

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ، سَمِعَ زَيْدَ بْنَ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ
Translation
Abu Dharr reported: The caller to prayer of the Prophet ﷺ called the adhan for the Zuhr prayer. He said, “Wait for it to cool, wait for it to cool!” – or he said, “Wait, wait!” And he said, “The intensity of the heat is from the raging heat of Hell; so when the heat becomes intense, delay the prayer until it is cooler.” (We waited) until we saw the shade of the hillocks.

Abu Dharr berichtete: Der Gebetsrufer des Propheten ﷺ rief zum Mittagsgebet. Da sagte er: „Warte, bis es kühler wird, warte, bis es kühler wird!“ – oder er sagte: „Warte, warte!“ Und er sagte: „Die Heftigkeit der Hitze kommt vom Gluthauch der Hölle; wenn die Hitze heftig ist, dann wartet mit dem Gebet, bis es kühler wird.“ (So warteten wir,) bis wir den Schatten der Hügel sahen.

Ebû Zer (r.a.) şöyle rivayet etti: Nebî'nin ﷺ müezzini öğle ezanını okudu. Nebî ﷺ: “Serinlet, serinlet!” – ya da: “Bekle, bekle!” – buyurdu. Ve şöyle buyurdu: “Sıcağın şiddeti cehennemin kaynamasındandır; sıcak şiddetlendiğinde namazı serinliğe bırakın.” (Öyle bekledik ki) tepeciklerin gölgesini gördük.
