The first row

Translation

Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, “The martyrs are: the one who drowns, the one who dies of plague, the one who dies of a disease of the belly, and the one who is crushed under a collapsed building.” And he said, “If they knew what is in going early (to the prayer), they would race to it. If they knew what is in al-'atamah and the dawn prayer, they would come to them even if crawling. And if they knew what is in the front row, they would draw lots (for it).”

Translator’s note: Going early (tahjir) refers here especially to going to the Zuhr prayer at the beginning of its time.

Deutsch

Ebû Hüreyre (r.a.), Nebî'nin ﷺ şöyle buyurduğunu rivayet etti: “Şehitler şunlardır: Suda boğulan, vebadan ölen, karın hastalığından ölen ve enkaz altında kalan.”
