Chapter 11 · Call to Prayers (Adhaan) (Sufa-Tu-Salat)حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، حَدَّثَنِي عُمَارَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْنَا خَبَّابًا أَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ قَالَ نَعَمْ. قُلْنَا بِأَىِّ شَىْءٍ كُنْتُمْ تَعْرِفُونَ قَالَ بِاضْطِرَابِ لِحْيَتِهِ.

Uns berichtete Umar ibn Hafs, der sagte, uns berichtete mein Vater, der sagte, uns berichtete Al-Aʿmasch, dem ʿUmāra über Abū Maʿmar berichtete, der sagte: Wir fragten Khabbāb: ‚Pflegte der Prophet (Allahs Segen und Friede auf ihm), im Zuhr- und im ʿAsr-Gebet (aus dem Qur'an) zu rezitieren?“ Er antwortete: ‚Ja.“ Wir fragten: ‚Woran habt ihr das erkannt?“ Er sagte: ‚An der Bewegung seines Bartes.“

Ebû Ma'mer dedi ki: “Habbâb'a: 'Nebi (sallallahu aleyhi ve sellem) öğle (Zuhr) ve ikindi (Asr) namazlarında (Kur'an) okur muydu?' diye sorduk. O da 'Evet' dedi. 'Peki, bunu neyle anlardınız?' dedik. O da 'Sakallarının oynamasıyla' diye cevap verdi.”
