Chapter 3 · Knowledgeرَفْعِ الْعِلْمِ وَظُهُورِ الْجَهْلِ
The taking away of knowledge and the appearance of ignorance
لأُحَدِّثَنَّكُمْ حَدِيثًا لاَ يُحَدِّثُكُمْ أَحَدٌ بَعْدِي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " مِنْ أَشْرَاطِ السَّاعَةِ أَنْ يَقِلَّ الْعِلْمُ، وَيَظْهَرَ الْجَهْلُ، وَيَظْهَرَ الزِّنَا، وَتَكْثُرَ النِّسَاءُ وَيَقِلَّ الرِّجَالُ، حَتَّى يَكُونَ لِخَمْسِينَ امْرَأَةً الْقَيِّمُ الْوَاحِدُ ".

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ
Translation
Anas ibn Malik reported: I will surely tell you a hadith that no one after me will tell you. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Among the signs of the Hour are that knowledge will decrease, ignorance will appear, fornication will appear, and women will become many and men few, until there is one guardian for fifty women.”

Anas ibn Malik berichtete: Ich werde euch gewiss einen Hadith erzählen, den euch nach mir niemand (mehr) erzählen wird. Ich hörte den Gesandten Allahs ﷺ sagen: „Zu den Vorzeichen der Stunde gehört, dass das Wissen abnimmt, die Unwissenheit zutage tritt, die Unzucht zutage tritt, die Frauen zahlreich und die Männer wenig werden, bis auf fünfzig Frauen ein einziger Versorger kommt.“

Enes b. Mâlik (r.a.) şöyle rivayet etti: Size öyle bir hadis anlatacağım ki, benden sonra onu size kimse anlatmayacak. Resûlullah'ı ﷺ şöyle buyururken işittim: “İlmin azalması, cehaletin ortaya çıkması, zinanın yayılması, kadınların çoğalıp erkeklerin azalması, hatta elli kadına bir tek bakıcının kalması kıyamet alâmetlerindendir.”
