Chapter 11 · Call to Prayers (Adhaan) (Sufa-Tu-Salat)كَيْفَ يَعْتَمِدُ عَلَى الأَرْضِ إِذَا قَامَ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، قَالَ جَاءَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ الْحُوَيْرِثِ فَصَلَّى بِنَا فِي مَسْجِدِنَا هَذَا فَقَالَ إِنِّي لأُصَلِّي بِكُمْ، وَمَا أُرِيدُ الصَّلاَةَ، وَلَكِنْ أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُرِيَكُمْ كَيْفَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي. قَالَ أَيُّوبُ فَقُلْتُ لأَبِي قِلاَبَةَ وَكَيْفَ كَانَتْ صَلاَتُهُ قَالَ مِثْلَ صَلاَةِ شَيْخِنَا هَذَا ـ يَعْنِي عَمْرَو بْنَ سَلِمَةَ ـ قَالَ أَيُّوبُ وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ الشَّيْخُ يُتِمُّ التَّكْبِيرَ، وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ عَنِ السَّجْدَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ جَلَسَ وَاعْتَمَدَ عَلَى الأَرْضِ، ثُمَّ قَامَ.

"Malik bin Huwairith رضی اللہ عنہ came to us and led us in the prayer in this mosque of ours and said, 'I lead you in prayer but I do not want to offer the prayer but just to show you how Allah's Apostle performed his prayers."Ayyub said that asked Abu Qilaba, "How was the prayer of Malik bin Huwairith?" He replied, "Like the prayer of this Sheikh of ours-- i.e. `Amr bin Salima." That Sheikh used to pronounce the Takbir perfectly and when he raised his head from the second prostration he would sit for a while and then support himself on the ground and get up.

Uns berichtete Mu'alla b. Asad, der sagte: Uns berichtete Wuhaib, über Ayyub, über Abu Qilaba, der sagte: Malik b. Huwairith kam zu uns und betete uns in dieser unserer Moschee vor. Er sagte: „Ich bete euch vor, obwohl ich (damit) nicht (nur) das Gebet (an sich) beabsichtige, sondern ich möchte euch zeigen, wie ich den Propheten, Allahs Segen und Frieden seien auf ihm, beten sah.“ Ayyub sagte: Ich fragte Abu Qilaba: „Wie war sein Gebet?“ Er antwortete: „Ähnlich dem Gebet dieses unseres Scheichs – er meinte 'Amr b. Salima.“ Ayyub sagte: Dieser Scheich vollzog den Takbīr vollständig und wenn er seinen Kopf von der zweiten Niederwerfung erhob, setzte er sich hin, stützte sich auf den Boden und stand dann auf.

Mu'allâ b. Esed bize anlattı, o dedi ki: Vüheyb bize Eyyûb'dan, o Ebû Kılâbe'den nakletti. Ebû Kılâbe dedi ki: Mâlik b. el-Huvayris bize gelip bu mescidimizde bize namaz kıldırdı ve şöyle dedi: “Ben size namaz kıldırıyorum, ancak (asıl olarak) namaz (kılmayı) kastetmiyorum, sadece Nebi’nin (s.a.v.) nasıl namaz kıldığını gördüğümü size göstermek istiyorum.” Eyyûb dedi ki: Ben Ebû Kılâbe'ye, “Onun namazı nasıldı?” diye sordum. O cevap verdi: “Bu şeyhimizin – yani Amr b. Seleme'nin – namazı gibiydi.” Eyyûb dedi ki: O şeyh, tekbiri tamamlardı ve ikinci secdeden başını kaldırdığında (kısa bir süre) oturur, yere dayanır ve sonra kalkardı.
