One who answers a request for a legal ruling with a gesture of the hand or the head

Translation

Abu Hurairah reported: The Prophet ﷺ said: “Knowledge will be taken away, ignorance and trials will appear, and al-harj will increase.” It was said: “O Messenger of Allah, what is al-harj?” He made a motion like this with his hand, turning it sideways, as if he meant killing.

Translator’s note: Al-harj: turmoil, bloodshed.
