Chapter 12 · Friday Prayerحَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " نَحْنُ الآخِرُونَ السَّابِقُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا، وَأُوتِينَاهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ، فَهَذَا الْيَوْمُ الَّذِي اخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ فَهَدَانَا اللَّهُ، فَغَدًا لِلْيَهُودِ وَبَعْدَ غَدٍ لِلنَّصَارَى ". فَسَكَتَ.ثُمَّ قَالَ " حَقٌّ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ فِي كُلِّ سَبْعَةِ أَيَّامٍ يَوْمًا يَغْسِلُ فِيهِ رَأْسَهُ وَجَسَدَهُ ". ثُمَّ قَالَ " حَقٌّ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ فِي كُلِّ سَبْعَةِ أَيَّامٍ يَوْمًا يَغْسِلُ فِيهِ رَأْسَهُ وَجَسَدَهُ ".

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said "We are the last (to come amongst the nations) but (will be) the foremost on the Day of Resurrection. They were given the Holy Scripture before us and we were given the Quran after them. And this was the day (Friday) about which they differed and Allah gave us the guidance (for that). So tomorrow (i.e. Saturday) is the Jews' (day), and the day after tomorrow (i.e. Sunday) is the Christians'." The Prophet (p.b.u.h) remained silent (for a while) and then said, "It is obligatory for every Muslim that he should take a bath once in seven days, when he should wash his head and body."

Der Gesandte Allahs (ﷺ) sagte: „Wir sind die Letzten (unter den Völkern), aber die Ersten am Tage der Auferstehung. Ihnen wurde die Schrift vor uns gegeben, und uns wurde sie nach ihnen gegeben. Dies ist der Tag (Freitag), über den sie uneins waren, und zu dem Allah uns rechtgeleitet hat. So ist morgen (Samstag) für die Juden und übermorgen (Sonntag) für die Christen.“ Dann schwieg er. Daraufhin sagte er: „Es ist das Recht jedes Muslims, dass er an einem Tag von sieben Tagen badet, an dem er seinen Kopf und seinen Körper wäscht.“

Allah'ın Elçisi (ﷺ) şöyle buyurdu: “Bizler (ümmetler arasında) sonuncuyuz, fakat Kıyamet Gününde öne geçenleriz. Onlara Kitap bizden önce verildi, bize ise onlardan sonra verildi. İşte bu (Cuma) onların ayrılığa düştükleri gündür ve Allah bizi ona hidayet etti. Yarın (Cumartesi) Yahudilerin, ondan sonraki gün (Pazar) ise Hristiyanlarındır.” Sonra bir süre sustu ve ardından şöyle buyurdu: “Her Müslümanın hakkıdır ki, yedi günde bir defa, başını ve bedenini yıkayacağı bir gün gusül abdesti alsın.”
