Chapter 12 · Friday Prayerحَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْغَسِيلِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ صَعِدَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْمِنْبَرَ وَكَانَ آخِرَ مَجْلِسٍ جَلَسَهُ مُتَعَطِّفًا مِلْحَفَةً عَلَى مَنْكِبَيْهِ، قَدْ عَصَبَ رَأْسَهُ بِعِصَابَةٍ دَسِمَةٍ، فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ " أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِلَىَّ ". فَثَابُوا إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ " أَمَّا بَعْدُ، فَإِنَّ هَذَا الْحَىَّ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ يَقِلُّونَ، وَيَكْثُرُ النَّاسُ، فَمَنْ وَلِيَ شَيْئًا مِنْ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَاسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ يَضُرَّ فِيهِ أَحَدًا أَوْ يَنْفَعَ فِيهِ أَحَدًا، فَلْيَقْبَلْ مِنْ مُحْسِنِهِمْ، وَيَتَجَاوَزْ عَنْ مُسِيِّهِمْ ".

Once the Prophet (ﷺ) ascended the pulpit and it was the last gathering in which he took part. He was covering his shoulder with a big cloak and binding his head with an oily bandage. He glorified and praised Allah and said, "O people! Come to me." So the people came and gathered around him and he then said, "Amma ba'du." "From now onward the Ansar will decrease and other people will increase. So anybody who becomes a ruler of the followers of Muhammad and has the power to harm or benefit people then he should accept the good from the benevolent amongst them (Ansar) and overlook the faults of their wrong-doers."

Es berichtete uns Isma'il ibn Aban, dass er sagte, es berichtete uns Ibn al-Ghasil, dass er sagte, es berichtete uns 'Ikrima, von Ibn 'Abbas – möge Allah mit beiden zufrieden sein –, der sagte: Der Prophet (ﷺ) bestieg die Kanzel (Minbar), und dies war die letzte Versammlung, in der er Platz nahm. Er hatte einen Umhang über seine Schultern geworfen und seinen Kopf mit einem öligen Verband umwickelt. Er lobte und pries Allah, dann sagte er: „O ihr Menschen, zu mir!“ Sie eilten ihm zu und versammelten sich um ihn. Dann sagte er: „Amma ba'd (Und nun zum Eigentlichen): Dieser Stamm der Ansar wird in der Zahl abnehmen, während die Menschen (insgesamt) zunehmen werden. Wer auch immer eine Form der Herrschaft über die Gemeinschaft Muhammads (ﷺ) erhält und die Macht hat, jemandem darin zu schaden oder ihm zu nützen, der soll die guten Taten ihrer rechtschaffenen Leute (der Ansar) annehmen und die Fehler ihrer Übeltäter übersehen.“

İsmail b. Aban bize anlattı, dedi ki: İbnü'l-Gasil bize anlattı, dedi ki: İkrime bize anlattı, İbn Abbas'tan – Allah onlardan razı olsun – dedi ki: Nebi (ﷺ) minbere çıktı. Bu, oturduğu son meclisti. Omuzlarının üzerine bir örtü atmış, başını yağlı bir bezle sarmıştı. Allah'a hamd ve senada bulundu, sonra şöyle buyurdu: "Ey insanlar, bana gelin!" Onlar da aceleyle yanına toplandılar. Sonra şöyle dedi: "Emme ba'd (Bundan sonra): Ensar kabilesi azalacak, diğer insanlar ise çoğalacaktır. Kim Muhammed’in ümmetinden bir işin başına geçer ve (bu işte) birisine zarar vermeye veya fayda sağlamaya muktedir olursa, onların (Ensar’ın) iyilik yapanlarının iyiliğini kabul etsin ve kötülük edenlerinin kusurlarını görmezden gelsin (affetsin)."
