Chapter 12 · Friday Prayerرَفْعِ الْيَدَيْنِ فِي الْخُطْبَةِ
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ،. وَعَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ بَيْنَمَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِذْ قَامَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، هَلَكَ الْكُرَاعُ، وَهَلَكَ الشَّاءُ، فَادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَسْقِيَنَا. فَمَدَّ يَدَيْهِ وَدَعَا.

To raise hands during the Khutba (religious talk)
While the Prophet (ﷺ) was delivering the Khutba on a Friday, a man stood up and said, "O, Allah's Apostle! The livestock and the sheep are dying, so pray to Allah for rain." So he (the Prophet) raised both his hands and invoked Allah (for it).

Während der Prophet (Friede sei mit ihm) am Freitag die Predigt (Khutba) hielt, stand ein Mann auf und sagte: „O Gesandter Allahs, die Reittiere/Zugtiere (al-Kurāʿ) sind zugrunde gegangen und die Schafe sind zugrunde gegangen. Bitte Allah darum, uns mit Regen zu versorgen!“ Daraufhin streckte er (der Prophet) seine Hände aus und flehte (Allah) an.

Nebi (s.a.v.) Cuma günü hutbe okurken bir adam ayağa kalktı ve şöyle dedi: “Ey Allah’ın Resulü! Hayvanlar ve koyunlar helak oldu (kuraklıktan öldü). Allah’a dua et de bizi sulasın (bize yağmur versin).” Bunun üzerine o (Nebi) ellerini uzattı ve dua etti.
