Chapter 2 · The Book of Faithحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ، وَزَادَ فِيهِ: «فَأُتِيتُ بِطَسْتٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ مُمْتَلِئٍ حِكْمَةً وَإِيمَانًا، فَشُقَّ مِنَ النَّحْرِ إِلَى مَرَاقِّ الْبَطْنِ، فَغُسِلَ بِمَاءِ زَمْزَمَ، ثُمَّ مُلِئَ حِكْمَةً وَإِيمَانًا».

The Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) narrated the hadith (mentioned above) and added to it: I was brought a gold basin full of wisdom and faith, and then the (part of the body) right from the upper end of the chest to the lower part of the abdomen was opened and it was washed with the water of Zamzam and then flled with wisdom and faith.

Malik ibn Sa'sa'ah berichtete, überliefert durch Anas ibn Malik, dass der Gesandte Allahs (ﷺ) [die vorherige Überlieferung] erwähnte und hinzufügte: „Mir wurde eine goldene Schale gebracht, die mit Weisheit und Iman (Glauben) gefüllt war. Dann wurde [mein Körper] vom oberen Teil des Brustbeins bis zum unteren Bauchraum aufgeschnitten, [die Innenseite] wurde mit Zamzam-Wasser gewaschen und daraufhin erneut mit Weisheit und Iman gefüllt.“

Malik ibn Sa’sa’ah, Enes ibn Malik aracılığıyla Allah Resulü’nün (ﷺ) [önceki olayı] anlattığını ve buna şunu eklediğini rivayet etti: “Bana, içi hikmet (bilgelik) ve imanla dolu olan altından bir leğen getirildi. Ardından [vücudum], boyun çukurundan karın boşluğunun yumuşak kısmına kadar yarıldı. [İç organlar] Zemzem suyu ile yıkandı ve sonra tekrar hikmet ve iman ile dolduruldu.”
