Bölüm 8 · Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat): Detailed Injunctions about Witrحَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ، عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَمَّا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْعُو بِهِ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ .

Aishah رضی اللہ عنہا the Mother of the Believers, about the supplication of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. She replied: He would say: 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done, and from the evil of what I have not done. '
