حَدَّثَنَا محُمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِى إِسْحَاق، عَنْ أَبِى حَبِيبَةَ الطَّائِيَّ، عَنْ أَبِى الدَّردْاءِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَعْتِقُ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ كَمَثَلِ الَّذِي يُهْدِي إِذَا شبعَ .

The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: the similitude of a man who emancipates a slave at the time of his death is like that of a man who gives a present after satisfying his appetite.
