Bölüm 7 · Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Themحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ أَبِي لَيْلَى، قَالَ: صَلَّيْتُ إِلَى جَنْبِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ تَطَوُّعًا، فَمَرَّ بِآيَةِ عَذَابٍ، فَقَالَ: أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ النَّارِ وَوَيْلٌ لِأَهْلِ النَّارِ .

“I prayed beside the Prophet (ﷺ) when he was praying voluntary prayers at night. He recited a Verse which mentioned punishment and said: ‘I seek refuge with Allah from the Fire, woe to the people of the Fire.’”
