Bölüm 41 · Zuhdحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ مِغْوَلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ، عَنْعَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْتُونَ مَا آتَوْا وَقُلُوبُهُمْ وَجِلَةٌ سورة المؤمنون آية 60، أَهُوَ يُضَافُ الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي يَزْنِي وَيَسْرِقُ وَيَشْرَبُ الْخَمْرَ، قَالَ: لَا، يَا بِنْتَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، أَوْ يَا بِنْتَ الصِّدِّيقِ، وَلَكِنَّهُ الرَّجُلُ يَصُومُ وَيَتَصَدَّقُ وَيُصَلِّي، وَهُوَ يَخَافُ أَنْ لَا يُتَقَبَّلَ مِنْهُ .

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, ‘And those who give that (their charity) which they give (and also do other good deeds) with their hearts full of fear.” [23:60] Is this the one who commits adultery, steals and drinks alcohol?’ He said: ‘No, O daughter of Abu Bakr’ – O daughter of Siddiq – rather it is a man who fasts and gives charity and prays, but he fears that those will not be accepted from him.’”
