Bölüm 41 · Zuhdحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَزَيْدُ بْنُ أَخْزَمَ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ أَبِي ثُبَيْتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَوْزَاءِ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ مَنْ مَلَأَ اللَّهَ أُذُنَيْهِ مِنْ ثَنَاءِ النَّاسِ خَيْرًا، وَهُوَ يَسْمَعُ، وَأَهْلُ النَّارِ مَنْ مَلَأَ أُذُنَيْهِ مِنْ ثَنَاءِ النَّاسِ شَرًّا، وَهُوَ يَسْمَعُ .

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The people of Paradise are those whose ears Allah fills with the praise of people when they are listening, and the people of Hell- fire are those whom He fills their ears with condemnation when they are listening.”
