وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، مَوْلَى بَنِي مَخْزُومٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «سَجَدَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ وَاقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ».

The Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) prostrated himself (while reciting these verses). When the heaven burst asunder ; Read in the name of Thy Lord .
