Bölüm 1 · Introductionوحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَشَجُّ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لِيَتَمَثَّلُ فِي صُورَةِ الرَّجُلِ، فَيَأْتِي الْقَوْمَ، فَيُحَدِّثُهُمْ بِالْحَدِيثِ مِنَ الْكَذِبِ، فَيَتَفَرَّقُونَ، فَيَقُولُ الرَّجُلُ مِنْهُمْ: سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا أَعْرِفُ وَجْهَهُ، وَلَا أَدْرِي مَا اسْمُهُ يُحَدِّثُ

Abdullah ibn Mes'ud şöyle dedi: Gerçekten şeytan bir adam suretinde görünür, bir topluluğa gelir ve onlara yalan bir söz (Hadis) anlatır. Sonra (o topluluk) dağılır. Daha sonra onlardan bir adam: 'Yüzünü tanıdığım, ama adını bilmediğim bir adamın (böyle bir yalanı) anlattığını işittim' der.

Abdullah ibn Mas'ud berichtete: Wahrlich, der Satan erscheint in der Gestalt eines Mannes, kommt zu den Leuten und erzählt ihnen eine falsche, erlogene Überlieferung (Hadith). Dann trennen sie sich (gehen auseinander). Und einer von ihnen sagt dann: 'Ich hörte einen Mann sprechen, dessen Gesicht ich erkenne, aber dessen Namen ich nicht weiß, der diese (erlogene Sache) berichtete.'

He said, Abdullah [bin Mas’ood] said: "Indeed Satan will appear in the form of a man and he will come to the people, narrating to them false Ḥadīth, and they will then depart. Then a man among them will say: ‘I heard a man whose face I recognize but I do not know his name narrating [such and such]…"
