Bölüm 2 · The Book of Faithحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي مُرَاوِحٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ: «الْإِيمَانُ بِاللهِ وَالْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِهِ» قَالَ: قُلْتُ: أَيُّ الرِّقَابِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ: «أَنْفَسُهَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِهَا وَأَكْثَرُهَا ثَمَنًا» قَالَ: قُلْتُ: فَإِنْ لَمْ أَفْعَلْ؟ قَالَ: «تُعِينُ صَانِعًا أَوْ تَصْنَعُ لِأَخْرَقَ» قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ ضَعُفْتُ عَنْ بَعْضِ الْعَمَلِ؟ قَالَ: «تَكُفُّ شَرَّكَ عَنِ النَّاسِ فَإِنَّهَا صَدَقَةٌ مِنْكَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ».

Ebu Zerr (r.a.) şöyle dedi: Ben sordum: "Ey Allah’ın Resulü! Amellerin hangisi daha faziletlidir?" O (ﷺ) şöyle cevap verdi: "Allah’a iman etmek ve O’nun yolunda cihad etmektir." Tekrar sordum: "Peki, hangi köleyi azat etmek en faziletlidir?" O (ﷺ) buyurdu: "Sahipleri katında en değerli olan ve fiyatı en yüksek olanıdır." Ben sordum: "Ya bunu yapamazsam?" O (ﷺ) buyurdu: "Bir zanaatkâra yardım edersin ya da beceriksiz biri için bir şey yaparsın." Ben sordum: "Ey Allah’ın Resulü! Bazı amelleri yapmaktan aciz kalırsam ne dersin?" O (ﷺ) buyurdu: "Şerrini insanlardan uzak tutarsın. Zira bu, senin kendi nefsin adına yaptığın bir sadakadır."

Abu Dharr (r.a.) berichtete: Ich fragte: „O Gesandter Allahs, welche der Taten ist die beste?“ Er (ﷺ) antwortete: „Der Glaube an Allah und der Dschihad auf Seinem Wege.“ Ich fragte weiter: „Welche Sklavenbefreiung ist die beste?“ Er (ﷺ) antwortete: „Diejenige, die ihren Besitzern am wertvollsten und deren Preis am höchsten ist.“ Ich fragte: „Und wenn ich das nicht tun kann?“ Er (ﷺ) sagte: „Du hilfst einem Handwerker oder stellst etwas für einen Ungeschickten her.“ Ich fragte: „O Gesandter Allahs, was meinst du, wenn ich für einige dieser Taten zu schwach bin?“ Er (ﷺ) antwortete: „Du hältst deine Schlechtigkeit von den Menschen fern. Denn dies ist eine Sadaqa (Almosen) von dir an deine eigene Seele.“
English
I said: Messenger of Allah ﷺ, which of the deeds is the best? He (the Holy Prophet ﷺ) replied: Belief in Allah and Jihad in His cause. I again asked: Who is the slave whose emancipation is the best? He (the Holy Prophet) replied: One who is valuable for his master and whose price is high. I said: If I can't afford to do it? He (the Holy Prophet) replied: Help an artisan or make anything for the unskilled (labourer). I (Abu Dharr) said: Messenger of Allah, you see that I am helpless in doing some of these deeds. He (the Holy Prophet) replied: Desist from doing mischief to the people. That is the charity of your person on your behalf.
