Bölüm 18 · The Book of Marriageوحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو غَسَّانَ الْمِسْمَعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: «كُنَّا نَعْزِلُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ نَبِيَّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَلَمْ يَنْهَنَا.

We used to practice 'azl during the lifetime of Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ). This (the news of this practice) reached Allah's Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ), and he did not forbid us.
