Bölüm 34 · The Book Of Jihad And Expeditionsحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنِي حُمَيْدُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مُغَفَّلٍ، يَقُولُ: رُمِيَ إِلَيْنَا جِرَابٌ فِيهِ طَعَامٌ، وَشَحْمٌ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ، فَوَثَبْتُ لِآخُذَهُ، قَالَ: فَالْتَفَتُّ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَاسْتَحْيَيْتُ مِنْهُ‘وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: جِرَابٌ مِنْ شَحْمٍ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الطَّعَامَ.

A bag containing food and fat was thrown to us. I kept forward to catch it. Then I turned round and saw (to my surprise) the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) and I felt ashamed of my act in his presence. Shu'ba narrated it with this chain (a hadith similar to no. 4604), except that he said: A leader bag full of fats, and he did not mention food.
