Bölüm 2 · The Book of Faithوَحَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ بْنِ أَسِيدِ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ الثَّقَفِيَّ، أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ لِكَعْبِ الْأَحْبَارِ: إِنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ يَدْعُوهَا، فَأَنَا أُرِيدُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ أَنْ أَخْتَبِئَ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ» فَقَالَ كَعْبٌ، لِأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: «نَعَمْ».

Abu Huraira رضی اللہ عنہ said to Ka'b al-Ahbar رضی اللہ عنہ that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) had said: For every apostle there Is a (special) prayer by which he would pray (to his Lord). I, however, intend (if Allah so willed) that I would reserve my prayer for the intercession of my Ummah on the Day of Resurrection. Ka'b said to Abu Hurairaرضی اللہ عنہ : Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم )? Abu Huraira رضی اللہ عنہ said: Yes.
