حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا الْمَخْزُومِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ أَنَّ جِبْرِيلَ وَعَدَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ وَلَمْ يُطَوِّلْهُ كَتَطْوِيلِ ابْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ.

Gabriel had promised Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) that he would come; the rest of the hadith is the same, but it is not so lengthy as the other one.
