Wer stehend einen sitzenden Gelehrten fragt

English

Abu Musa al-Ash'ari reported: A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: “O Messenger of Allah, what is fighting in the cause of Allah? For one of us fights out of anger, and fights out of tribal zeal.” He raised his head to him – he said: and he only raised his head to him because he (the man) was standing – and said: “Whoever fights so that the word of Allah is the highest, he is in the cause of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.”

Anmerkung zur Übersetzung: Abdullah ibn Qays is Abu Musa al-Ash'ari.

Türkçe

Ebû Mûsâ el-Eş'arî (r.a.)
