Chapter 1 · Revelation
Sahih

How the revelation to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ began

Translation

Umar ibn al-Khattab reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Actions are only according to intentions, and every person shall have only what he intended. So whoever's emigration (hijrah) was for a worldly gain he seeks to attain, or for a woman he seeks to marry, his emigration is for that for which he emigrated.”

Deutsch

Hattâb (r.a.)
