Chapter 18 · Prostration During Recital of Qur'anسَجْدَةِ {إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ}
حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ، وَمُعَاذُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، قَالاَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَرَأَ {إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ} فَسَجَدَ بِهَا فَقُلْتُ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، أَلَمْ أَرَكَ تَسْجُدُ قَالَ لَوْ لَمْ أَرَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَسْجُدُ لَمْ أَسْجُدْ.

Prostration while reciting Idhat-Sama'un-Shaqqat
I saw Abu Huraira رضی اللہ عنہ reciting Idha-Sama' un-Shaqqat and he prostrated during its recitation. I asked Abu Huraira, "Didn't I see you prostrating?" Abu Huraira said, "Had I not seen the Prophet (ﷺ) prostrating, I would not have prostrated."

Abu Salama berichtete: Ich sah Abu Huraira, Allah möge mit ihm zufrieden sein, {Wenn der Himmel sich spaltet} rezitieren und er vollzog daraufhin eine Niederwerfung (Sajda). Ich fragte ihn: „O Abu Huraira, sah ich dich nicht [gerade] niederwerfen?“ Er antwortete: „Hätte ich den Propheten (ﷺ) nicht [selbst] niederwerfen gesehen, hätte ich mich nicht niedergeworfen.“

Ebu Seleme şöyle dedi: Ben Ebu Hureyre’yi – Allah ondan razı olsun – {Gök yarıldığı zaman} ayetini okurken gördüm ve bu ayetten dolayı secde etti. Ben kendisine: “Ey Ebu Hureyre, seni secde ederken görmedim mi [Wieso hast du es getan]?” diye sordum. O şöyle cevap verdi: “Eğer ben Nebi’nin (ﷺ) secde ettiğini görmemiş olsaydım, secde etmezdim.”
