Chapter 20 · Prayer at Night (Tahajjud)تَحْرِيضِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى صَلاَةِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّوَافِلِ مِنْ غَيْرِ إِيجَابٍ
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ هِنْدٍ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم اسْتَيْقَظَ لَيْلَةً فَقَالَ " سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ مَاذَا أُنْزِلَ اللَّيْلَةَ مِنَ الْفِتْنَةِ، مَاذَا أُنْزِلَ مِنَ الْخَزَائِنِ مَنْ يُوقِظُ صَوَاحِبَ الْحُجُرَاتِ، يَا رُبَّ كَاسِيَةٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا عَارِيَةٍ فِي الآخِرَةِ ".

The Prophet's (pbuh) exhorting to Tahajjud and Nawafil without making them compulsory
One night the Prophet (ﷺ) got up and said, "Subhan Allah! How many afflictions Allah has revealed tonight and how many treasures have been sent down (disclosed). Go and wake the sleeping lady occupants of these dwellings up (for prayers), perhaps a well dressed in this world may be naked in the Hereafter."

Umm Salama (رضى الله عنها) berichtete, dass der Prophet (ﷺ) eines Nachts erwachte und sprach: „Subhan Allah! Welche Prüfung (Fitna) wurde heute Nacht herabgesandt? Welche Schätze wurden herabgesandt? Wer weckt die Bewohnerinnen der Gemächer? O wie viele, die in dieser Welt bekleidet sind, werden im Jenseits nackt sein!“

Ümmü Seleme (رضى الله عنها) bildirdi ki, Nebi (ﷺ) bir gece uyandığında şöyle buyurdu: “Subhanallah! Bu gece fitneden (imtihanlardan) ne indirildi? Hazinelerden ne indirildi? Odaların (Hücrelerin) hanım sahiplerini kim uyandıracak? Dünyada giyinik olan nice kadınlar Ahirette çıplak kalacaktır!”
