Chapter 24 · Funerals (Al-Janaa'iz)مَا يُكْرَهُ مِنَ النِّيَاحَةِ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " إِنَّ كَذِبًا عَلَىَّ لَيْسَ كَكَذِبٍ عَلَى أَحَدٍ، مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَىَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ ". سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " مَنْ نِيحَ عَلَيْهِ يُعَذَّبُ بِمَا نِيحَ عَلَيْهِ ".

What (sort of) wailing over a deceased is disliked
I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Ascribing false things to me is not like ascribing false things to anyone else. Whosoever tells a lie against me intentionally then surely let him occupy his seat in Hell-Fire." I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "The deceased who is wailed over is tortured for that wailing."

Al-Mughirah (رضى الله عنه) berichtete: Ich hörte den Propheten (ﷺ) sagen: „Wahrlich, eine Lüge über mich ist nicht wie eine Lüge über irgendeinen anderen. Wer mir absichtlich eine Lüge zuschreibt, der soll seinen Platz im Höllenfeuer einnehmen.“ [Al-Mughirah fügte hinzu:] Ich hörte den Propheten (ﷺ) [auch] sagen: „Wegen des Wehklagens (Niyaha), das über ihn gehalten wird, wird derjenige, über den geweheklagt wird, dadurch gepeinigt.“

Muğîra (r.a.) şöyle dedi: Ben Nebi’yi (ﷺ) şöyle derken işittim: “Şüphesiz benim üzerime yalan uydurmak, herhangi bir kimsenin üzerine yalan uydurmak gibi değildir. Kim bile bile benim üzerime yalan söylerse, Cehennem’deki yerini hazırlasın (tutsun).” [Muğîra devam etti:] Nebi’yi (ﷺ) [yine] şöyle derken işittim: “Kendisi için ağıt yakılan (üzerine nîha yapılan) kişi, bu ağıt sebebiyle azap görür.”
