Chapter 24 · Funerals (Al-Janaa'iz)لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ شَقَّ الْجُيُوبَ
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا زُبَيْدٌ الْيَامِيُّ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَطَمَ الْخُدُودَ، وَشَقَّ الْجُيُوبَ، وَدَعَا بِدَعْوَى الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ".

He who tears off his clothes (when afflicted with a calamity) is not from us
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He who slaps his cheeks, tears his clothes and follows the ways and traditions of the Days of Ignorance is not one of us."
Deutsch
Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud), möge Allah mit ihm zufrieden sein, berichtete, dass der Prophet (ﷺ) sprach: „Er gehört nicht zu uns, wer sich auf die Wangen schlägt, die Kleider (die Kragen) zerreißt und den Ruf der vorislamischen Unwissenheit (Jāhiliyyah) ausruft.“

Abdullah (ibn Mes'ud) (r.a.) şöyle dedi: Nebi (ﷺ) buyurdu ki: "Yanaklarını tokatlayan, yakalarını yırtan ve Câhiliye dönemine ait çağrılarla (yöntemlerle) yas tutan bizden değildir."
