Chapter 4 · Ablutions (Wudu')مَنْ لَمْ يَرَ الْوُضُوءَ إِلاَّ مِنَ الْمَخْرَجَيْنِ، مِنَ الْقُبُلِ وَالدُّبُرِ
One who considers ablution necessary only for what comes out of the two outlets, the front and the back
كُنْتُ رَجُلاً مَذَّاءً، فَاسْتَحْيَيْتُ أَنْ أَسْأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَمَرْتُ الْمِقْدَادَ بْنَ الأَسْوَدِ فَسَأَلَهُ فَقَالَ " فِيهِ الْوُضُوءُ ".

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ مُنْذِرٍ أَبِي يَعْلَى الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ابْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ، قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ
Translation
Ali ibn Abi Talib reported: I was a man who frequently had pre-seminal fluid (madhy), and I felt too shy to ask the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. So I told al-Miqdad ibn al-Aswad (to ask), and he asked him, and he said, “For it, ablution (wudu) is required.”
Translator’s note: Madhy: a thin fluid discharged on arousal.

Ali ibn Abi Talib berichtete: Ich war ein Mann, bei dem häufig Vorflüssigkeit (Madhy) austrat, und ich schämte mich, den Gesandten Allahs ﷺ zu fragen. Da beauftragte ich al-Miqdad ibn al-Aswad, und er fragte ihn. Da sagte er: „Dafür ist die Gebetswaschung (zu vollziehen).“

Ali b. Ebû Tâlib (r.a.) şöyle rivayet etti: Ben mezisi çok gelen bir adamdım. Resûlullah'a ﷺ sormaya utandım. Mikdâd b. Esved'e (r.a.) (sormasını) söyledim, o da ona sordu. Bunun üzerine, “Bundan dolayı abdest gerekir” buyurdu.
