Sahih

The ritual bath (ghusl) with a sa' and the like

Translation

Abu Salamah reported: Aishah's brother and I entered upon Aishah, and her brother asked her about the ritual bath (ghusl) of the Prophet ﷺ. She called for a vessel of about one sa', washed herself and poured (water) over her head, while there was a screen between us and her.

Translator’s note: According to the commentators, he was her foster brother. The sa' is a measure of volume equal to four mudds.

Other translations

Deutsch

Ebû Seleme şöyle rivayet etti: Ben ve Âişe'nin (r.a.) kardeşi Âişe'nin yanına girdik.
