A man's ritual bath (ghusl) together with his wife
كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَالنَّبِيُّ، صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ قَدَحٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ الْفَرَقُ.

حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ
Translation
Aishah reported: The Prophet ﷺ and I used to bathe from a single vessel, from a bowl called faraq.
Translator’s note: Faraq: a measure of capacity of about three sa'. “Bathe” refers to the ritual bath (ghusl).
