Translation
Abu Hurairah reported: The Prophet ﷺ said, “While Ayyub (Job, peace be upon him) was bathing naked, locusts of gold fell upon him, and Ayyub began scooping (them) into his garment. His Lord called out to him: ‘O Ayyub, did I not make you free of need for what you see?’ He said, ‘Yes indeed, by Your might! But I can never be free of need for Your blessing.’”

Ebû Hüreyre (r.a.) şöyle rivayet etti: Nebî ﷺ şöyle buyurdu: “Eyyûb (a.s.) çıplak yıkanırken üzerine altından çekirgeler düştü. Eyyûb onları avuçlayıp elbisesine doldurmaya başladı. Rabbi ona: ‘Ey Eyyûb! Seni gördüğün bu şeylerden müstağni kılmadım mı?’ diye seslendi. Eyyûb: ‘Evet, izzetine yemin olsun ki kıldın! Fakat senin bereketinden müstağni olamam’ dedi.”
