A woman who menstruates after the Ifadah

Translation

Aishah reported that she said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, “O Messenger of Allah, Safiyyah bint Huyayy has got her menses.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Perhaps she will hold us back. Did she not perform the circumambulation (of the Kaaba) with you?” They said, “Yes.” He said, “Then set out.”

Translator’s note: This refers to Tawaf al-Ifadah on the Day of Sacrifice. Whoever has performed it may leave while menstruating without the farewell circumambulation.

Deutsch

Âişe (r.a.), Resûlullah'a ﷺ: “Ey Allah'ın Resûlü! Safiyye bint Huyey hayız oldu” dediğini rivayet etti. Resûlullah ﷺ: “Galiba o bizi alıkoyacak. Sizinle birlikte tavaf etmemiş miydi?” buyurdu. “Evet” dediler. “Öyleyse yola çık” buyurdu.

Translator’s note: Kurban bayramındaki ifâda tavafı kastedilmektedir. Onu yapan kadın, hayızlı iken vedâ tavafı yapmadan ayrılabilir.
