Chapter 66 · Prophetic Commentary on the Qur'an (Tafseer of the Prophet (PBUH))حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، وَغَيْرُهُ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، رضى الله عنهما عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " جَاوَرْتُ بِحِرَاءٍ ". مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I was in a seclusion in the cave of Hira........."(similar to the narration related by `Ali bin Al-Mubarak, 444 above).

Jābir ibn 'Abdillāh (möge Allah mit beiden zufrieden sein) berichtete, dass der Prophet (ﷺ) sagte: „Ich verbrachte [die Zeit im spirituellen] Rückzug in Hirā'.“ [Dies ist] ähnlich dem Hadith, das 'Uthmān ibn 'Umar über 'Alī ibn al-Mubārak überlieferte.
