Sahih

The virtue of the Isha prayer

Translation

Aishah reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delayed the Isha prayer one night – and that was before Islam had spread – and he did not come out until Umar said, “The women and the children have fallen asleep.” Then he came out and said to the people in the mosque, “No one among the people of the earth is waiting for it except you.”

Âişe (r.a.)
