Chapter 9 · Times of the Prayersلاَ يَتَحَرَّى الصَّلاَةَ قَبْلَ غُرُوبِ الشَّمْسِ
One should not aim to pray before sunset
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ يَتَحَرَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَيُصَلِّي عِنْدَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَلاَ عِنْدَ غُرُوبِهَا ".

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ،
Translation
Ibn Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “None of you should aim to pray at the rising of the sun or at its setting.”
