Chapter 10 · Call to Prayers (Adhaan)
Sahih

The adhan after dawn

Translation

Hafsah reported that when the caller to prayer had waited for the dawn prayer and the dawn appeared, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would pray two light rak'ahs before the iqamah for the prayer was called.

Translator’s note: Apparently meaning that the caller to prayer remained (at his place) waiting for the dawn.

Other translations

Deutsch

Hafsa (r.a.), müezzin sabah namazı için bekleyip tan ağardığında Resûlullah'ın ﷺ namaza kamet getirilmeden önce iki hafif rekât kıldığını rivayet etti.

Translator’s note: Muhtemelen müezzinin (ezan yerinde) tan yerinin ağarmasını beklemesi kastedilmektedir.
