The virtue of praying in congregation
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " صَلاَةُ الرَّجُلِ فِي الْجَمَاعَةِ تُضَعَّفُ عَلَى صَلاَتِهِ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَفِي سُوقِهِ خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ ضِعْفًا، وَذَلِكَ أَنَّهُ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ لاَ يُخْرِجُهُ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةُ، لَمْ يَخْطُ خَطْوَةً إِلاَّ رُفِعَتْ لَهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةٌ، وَحُطَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةٌ، فَإِذَا صَلَّى لَمْ تَزَلِ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ، اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ. وَلاَ يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا انْتَظَرَ الصَّلاَةَ ".

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا صَالِحٍ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ
Translation
Abu Hurairah reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “A man's prayer in congregation is multiplied twenty-five times over his prayer in his house and in his marketplace. That is because when he performs ablution (wudu) and does it well, then goes out to the mosque with nothing but the prayer bringing him out, he does not take a single step without being raised a degree by it and having a sin removed from him by it. And when he prays, the angels continue to invoke blessings upon him as long as he remains in his place of prayer: ‘O Allah, bless him! O Allah, have mercy on him!’ And each of you remains in prayer as long as he is waiting for the prayer.”

Abu Huraira berichtete: Der Gesandte Allahs ﷺ sagte: „Das Gebet eines Mannes in Gemeinschaft wird gegenüber seinem Gebet in seinem Haus und auf seinem Markt fünfundzwanzigfach vervielfacht. Denn wenn er die Gebetswaschung vollzieht und sie gut vollzieht, dann zur Moschee hinausgeht und ihn nichts anderes hinausführt als das Gebet, macht er keinen Schritt, ohne dass er dadurch um eine Stufe erhöht und ihm dadurch eine Sünde abgenommen wird. Und wenn er betet, hören die Engel nicht auf, für ihn um Segen zu bitten, solange er an seinem Gebetsplatz bleibt: ‚O Allah, segne ihn! O Allah, erbarme Dich seiner!‘ Und einer von euch bleibt unablässig im Gebet, solange er auf das Gebet wartet.“

Ebû Hüreyre (r.a.) şöyle rivayet etti: Resûlullah ﷺ şöyle buyurdu: “Kişinin cemaatle kıldığı namaz, evinde ve çarşısında kıldığı namazdan yirmi beş kat fazladır. Çünkü o, abdest alıp abdestini güzelce aldığında, sonra onu ancak namaz çıkarmış olarak mescide çıktığında, attığı her adımla bir derece yükseltilir ve bir günahı silinir. Namaz kıldığında da namaz kıldığı yerde kaldıkça melekler ona dua etmeye devam ederler: ‘Allah'ım, onu mübarek kıl! Allah'ım, ona merhamet et!’ Sizden biri de namazı beklediği sürece namazda olmaya devam eder.”
