Chapter 10 · Call to Prayers (Adhaan)
Sahih

The extent to which a sick person should attend the congregation

Translation

Aishah reported: When the Prophet ﷺ became seriously ill and his pain grew severe, he asked his wives for permission to be nursed in my house, and they permitted him. So he went out between two men, his feet making furrows in the ground; he was between al-Abbas and another man. Ubaydullah said: I mentioned to Ibn Abbas what Aishah had said, and he said to me, “Do you know who the man is whom Aishah did not name?” I said, “No.” He said, “He is Ali ibn Abi Talib.”

Translator’s note: Ubaydullah (ibn Abdullah ibn Utbah) is a later narrator. Al-Abbas is the Prophet's ﷺ uncle.

Deutsch

Âişe (r.a.) Ubeydullah dedi ki: Âişe'nin söylediğini İbn Abbâs'a (r.a.) anlattım. Bana: “Âişe'nin adını söylemediği adamın kim olduğunu biliyor musun?” dedi. “Hayır” dedim. “O, Ali b. Ebû Tâlib'dir” dedi.

Translator’s note: Ubeydullah (b. Abdullah b. Utbe) sonraki bir râvidir. Abbas, Nebî'nin ﷺ amcasıdır.
